I always interpreted Spike not telling Buffy about his soul to have been because he wanted her to notice the change, not just change how she thought of him because she knew and I kind of also thought it was about him not feeling that he had the right to tell her or try or ask for her forgiveness. I dunno. Anyone else have a different interpretation?
