Realistic guide for average running race times. No one telling you here that the normal 5km time for a 40yo guy is 15.30 – the average time for this age group in 4 of the most popular US races in 2013 was actually 28.46. Not that it really matters though, if you dragged your ass off the couch and are out there doing it you are winning imo.
